Heritage Open Days in September

From Thursday 8th to the Sunday 11th of September Pendle is taking part in the national event Heritage Open Days.

Pendle is a great place to come for visitors who love heritage, we have so much here……One of the country's most unique mining museums, the great steaming day at Bancroft Mill, and of course, no trip to Pendle would be complete without a tour of the sites associated with Britain's most famous witches on the Pendle Witches Trail 

Events in Pendle also include a guided tour of The Oaks Hotel……but beware you might see the resident ghost!

Get all steamed up at Bancroft Mill’s special free Steaming Day or get a great sense of the life and times of one of the UKs most famous women socialists at the former Glen Cottage in Earby.
