About
Lower Coldwell is a 14.5 acre reservoir set in the hills above Nelson. It is regularly stocked with Rainbow Trout and Blue Trout in the 2lb-5lb range as well as a small number of fish in the 5lb-10lb range. It also holds a number of ‘wild’ Brown Trout. Day tickets must be purchased prior to fishing and are available from the Bailiffs on site or from the following outlets:

All fishermen must have a valid Environment Agency fishing licence.
Car parking is available at the Coldwell Activity Centre (opposite Lower Coldwell reservoir).
The roadside bank is accessible for wheelchair users and there are two platforms from which wheelchair users can fish. Assistance may be required to land fish however.
There are NO toilet facilities available.

Frequently stocked with rainbow and blue trout up to 10lbs+.
Max two fish per day.
Fishing must cease at dusk.
£20.00 per day ticket (fly only) Ages 14 - 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
