BRONTE WALK From The Atom to Ferndean on Saturday 28th May.
This free guided walk is one of a number of walks and other events taking place to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of famous literary genius, Charlotte Bronte, in 1816.
Charlotte and her sisters often visited the beautiful village of Wycoller in Pendle, and Wycoller Hall was the model for Ferndean Manor in her novel "Jane Eyre".
This walk, led by knowledgeable guide, Norman Mitchell, starts at 10.30 at the Atom/Haworth Road Car Park above Wycoller SD937393.
It's around 5miles and takes 3 hours.
As with all outdoor walks please dress appropriately. All those under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult 18 or over. Although this event is free BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL. There are a MAXIMUM OF 30 PLACES
