About
Do you remember dressing up in your ‘Sunday Best’ during the 1950’s to 1980’s?
Do you have any photographs from that time, particularly of special occasions?
Maybe you love history or are researching a family tree and want to share what you have found…
If so, we need you!
Come and take part in this free Heritage Lottery funded project, celebrating the best of vintage fashion in Pendle, the great tales and happy memories of when people wore their Sunday Best.
Students at Nelson & Colne College will be coming along to ‘The Shop’ to film some of our stories and we thought some of you might like to join in and tell us your Sunday Best tales of where you were and what you wore and maybe even bring some of your photos or a piece of clothing if you still have some.
Filming will take place in ‘The Shop’ and will be done in an informal manner so no need to worry about being photo ready!
We need a minimum of 6 to 8 people per session and thought what better way to tell the stories of our Sunday Best than from the people that work within our Pendle organisations.
If you would like to take part or know of any family members or friends that would be interested then please feel free to share this email with them - filming takes place on 14/01/16 and 21/01/15
