This Cycle Ride is part of the Pedal Pendle Festival, including youth races and other family entertainment, including a free bus link to the Food Festival. Tackling the Pendle countryside you will enjoy one of three routes: 25km, 68km, or 95km, enjoying the beautiful surroundings as you pass through the district of Pendle.
Starting and finishing at the Steven Burke Sports Hub, this is an event for all supported by Pendle Borough Council.
Once out of Barrowford and past the reservoir, you will cycle past Whitemoor Reservoir towards Barnoldswick.
Leaving the 98km cyclists behind, you will make your way West to Bracewell, Horton, and Bolton by Bowland before starting a steady incline around Pendle Hill before cycling down into Barley.
With a steady finish through Sabden, this is one to test, but mainly to enjoy.
This cycle offers you a challenge, but an enjoyable day out. Perfect for regular cyclists and glory seekers!
