Heritage open Days at Bancroft - Free entry

See the largest engine steaming in Lancashire running at full speed.
The engine was built in Nelson in 1919 and is in its original condition and on the site for which it was made. See the massive 30 foot flywheel and powerful Cornish boiler.

Also on site see:
Noreen Lobo, celebrated portrait and landscape artist, demonstrating her work.
The Lancashire Section of the Vintage Motor Cycle Club on display.
Weaving demonstrations on Bancroft’s own Lancashire loom.

Guided tours available during the day.
