FREE FAMILY NATURE EVENT BATTY ABOUT BATS – Thursday 25th October, 10 – 12pm
Come and join us at Whitehough Outdoor Centre (Near Barley, BB12 9LF) for a morning about bats. We will be hunting for bats favourite food, minibeast. While creating natural bat crafts and following trails within the great outdoors! Meet us in the car park to be guided to the indoor and outdoor spaces we will be using.
Event details:
Activities aimed at 4 - 12 year olds (but older and younger siblings are welcome to attend). Children must be accompanied by a parent/carer at all times. Please park in the car park and to meet us there. All toilet facilities are located in main car park and at the Clarion house. Please bring your own food and drink and take rubbish home.
Please come dressed appropriately, as we will be going outside to enjoy nature in all weathers! Walking boots or wellies are advisable for the walk to the Clarion. No need to book.
