Bronte Walk on Saturday 25th June.
This free guided walk is one of a number of walks and other events taking place to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of famous literary genius, Charlotte Bronte, in 1816. Charlotte and her sisters often visited the beautiful village of Wycoller in Pendle, and Wycoller Hall was the model for Ferndean Manor in her novel "Jane Eyre".
This walk, led by knowledgeable guide, Norman Mitchell, starts at Ball Grove Country Park, just outside of Colne, Lancashire.
It starts at 10am on Saturday 25th June and visits Wycoller, Raven Rock and Thorn Edge, retuning to Ball Grove and is approx 4.5 miles long and takes around 3 hours.
As with all outdoor walks please dress appropriately.
All those under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult 18 or over.
