The Leeds & Liverpool Canal powered the Industrial Revolution in Pennine Lancashire. 200 years on from the canal’s birth, we’re seeing a new creative revolution powered by art and people. A selection of local guests will bring the bi-centenary celebrations to a close with an informative and engaging talk on the incredible journey of the canal in 2016. The perfect event for anyone interested in learning about the local area.
