Forest of Trawden & The Ferndean Way

A 7 mile walk following Colne Water and Wycoller Beck to Wycoller along the Ferndean Way and back via the waterfall at Lumb Spout.

This free guided walk is one of a number of walks and other events taking place to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of famous literary genius, Charlotte Bronte, in 1816. Charlotte and her sisters often visited the beautiful village of Wycoller in Pendle, and Wycoller Hall was the model for Ferndean Manor in her novel "Jane Eyre".
