Come to the Council Buildings on Victoria Road, Earby, for an Open Day / Parish Assembly, combined with "Liber-Teas", celebrating the signing of the Magna Carta 800 years ago. The building will be open for people to have a look round, all the machinery the Town Council owns will be on display. The Local History Society will have some display boards indoors, along with one of the Town Council , showing the make-up of the Council. There will be a marquee on the front of the buildings for extra seating and your Councillors will be serving you with scones, jam and cream, tea or coffee.(There is no charge for the afternoon tea.) At 2pm, we will be having the Official Opening of Claret's Corner on the Bus Station , by our Town Council Chairman, Cllr Chris Tennant. The new seating area has been dedicated to Earby Clarets to be a small mark of appreciation for all their wonderful generosity to local groups and projects for so many, many years.
