About
OWL PELLET DISSECTION – Thursday 25th October 1.30-4.00pm (Free)
Discover what local Barn Owls eat. Park at Whitehough Outdoor Centre (Near Barley, BB12 9LF) for an afternoon walk to the Clarion house. The walk is under a mile long and along footpaths, though kissing gates and over stiles. Therefore not suitable for prams or wheelchairs sorry. On route we will be carrying out a scavenger hunt to create an owl mask. At the Clarion house we will be dissecting pellets to discover what they have been eating, plus an opportunity to make some natural land art. Then a guided nature walk back to Whitehough car park.
