Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? These Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They're up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour.
This route follows park paths tothe tow path of the Leeds Liverpool Canal. It's a there a back style ride at a gentlepace to suit all. Hopefully we'll get to see a bargeor two navigating one of the 5 lockson the route. We'll also see the Mallards and Swans that habitate the waterway and possibly a Heron and Canada Geese. This is a busy stretch of the canal with plenty going on.If its available, why not have a blast around the 1.1KM cycle track named after Colnes Olympic Hero StevenBurke.
