Summer Tai Chi in Victoria Park

Tuesday 31st July is the launch event for our 4th Annual Summer Tai Chi in Victoria Park 2018. The Mayor of Pendle has been invited to open the event, which begins with a 'blessing' ceremony at 1pm and a Chinese Lion Dance Performance.

The tai chi sessions will then be held on Tuesdays 7th, 14th & 21st August 1.30 - 2.30pm (registration from 1pm)

Registration is required for all participants at any of the sessions. Once registered we can scan you in on arrival; so avoid the queue by pre-registering and booking with Up & Active on Tel 01282 661226

Please check in at each attendance at our welcome desk. All ages and abilities are welcome and it is completely free. The park and café are wheelchair accessible.

The tai chi starts at 1.30pm. Join David & Helena from Lighthouse Tai Chi for a free follow along session - do as much or as little as you wish. All ages welcome but under 15s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

No previous experience required. Participation is at your own risk.

The Pavillion Cafe is open to support our event, with hot & cold drinks use of the facilities available to those taking part.
