The Pendle Way is a stunningly beautiful route covering 45 miles in eight different sections. The Pendle Way Section 8 (3.5 miles) - Barley to Barrowford. Ancient field tracks lead to a 17th century hall in the village of Roughlee which has associations with the gentlewoman Alice Nutter - the most enigmatic of the Pendle Witches of 1612.
