There will be a talk entitled “The Corn mills of Whalley and Billington”

This talk traces the history of corn milling in the Whalley and Billington area from about AD1200 to the present day.  Although the subject would appear to be dry and dusty, as you would expect from milling, this is an historical detective story with relevance today.
