Hear why Tchaikovsky considered Mozart to be 'The Musical Christ' in the fast-paced Divertimento in F, before you experience the virtuosity of Camerata’s leader, Adi Brett, as she performs Haydn’s Violin Concerto in C. Adi will direct the concert from a 1752 Guadagnini violin which has been kindly loaned to Camerata by arts philanthropist, Jonathan Moulds. Sibelius' evocative and gorgeously lyrical Suite for Violin and Strings ensues, painting a picture of three delightful country scenes, before Tchaikovsky's heart-wrenchingly elegiacSerenade for Strings brings the programme to a powerful conclusion.
