For 30 years or so the Pendle Heritage Archaeology Group has been delving into the area's 'lost' treasures. We have embarked on a new long term project, to explore Pendle's Hidden Valley - from Portfield to Water Meetings. This talk is about our first year of exploration of the Hidden Valley. Already we have discovered tantalising clues hinting at a deeper, more complex history than hitherto expected.
