Sky Ride - Pendle - Cafe Cargo to Greenberfield Locks - 8 miler

This route follows the towpath of the Leeds - Liverpool Canal as it meanders from Foulridge to Thornton. The route is largely beautiful countryside with a large variety of wildlife and plant life depending on time of year. You will regularly see the resident Swans, Mallards and other birds. The canal is very popular with walkers and boaters alike with pleasure barges journeying back and forth along the canal. The route is a there and back ride with a cafe at each end and an old local pub in the middle. Cafe Cargo also has a lovely ice cream/sweet shop.

Helmets must be worn by all under 18's regardless of ride level. All ages are welcome. Those under the age of 5 must be in a BSI approved child seat, trailer or tag-a-long.
