One of a series of walks for the 400th Anniversary of the Pendle Witch Trials
10am.start. Barley car-park.
We leave Barley and follow the Pendle Way down into Roughlee to admire the home of Alice Nutter. We then make our way to Clarion House (refreshments), climb up to Rigdaling and then onto Noggarth (refreshments), along the ridge of Pendle Forest, seeing the vaccary walls, along to Newchurch (refreshments), Faughs, Moss End, Bull Hole, Meadowtop, Well Head, Fell Wood before returning to Barley
6 miles approx.
